Practice Areas
Immigration Law
Immigration laws are complex; representation by an attorney is invaluable for the success of any immigration matter. We guide our clients in selecting the non-immigrant or immigrant status most adapted to their situation and projects in the United States and assist them with preparation of the associated petitions and applications. We have extensive experience with all business petitions (employment-based green cards, H-1B professionals, E treaty traders and investors, L-1 transferees, O-1 extraordinary ability, P-3 culturally-unique performers, J-1 exchange visitors), family-based petitions (family-based green cards, fiancé visas, removal of conditional status) and naturalization applications. We also defend individuals who are placed in removal proceedings.
Business Law
We provide a comprehensive range of services in the area of company and commercial law, assisting clients in setting up their organization and with their day-to-day operations. We advise our clients on the choice of business entity, entity formation and corporate governance. We also assist businesses with the contractual aspects of their activities and all necessary agreements including production, sale and distribution agreements and employment and consulting contracts. Finally, we process trademark registrations with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
Commercial Litigation
We represent clients in proceedings before State and Federal Courts in connection with civil and commercial disputes and assist them with the enforcement of foreign judgments.
Trusts & Estates
We assist clients in preparing and executing wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and related documents. We additionally assist clients in probating the estates of family members who die, and in obtaining guardianships over incapacitated adults and minor children who need a guardian. We assist family members, beneficiaries and fiduciaries to ensure that they are properly advised of their rights and obligations. Where necessary or appropriate, we advise clients regarding potential and actual litigation regarding estate, trusts and related matters.
