Stefania Sminchise assists with various practice areas of the law firm, including immigration law, where her dedication and expertise have made her an integral part of the team.
Prior to joining the Law offices of Christelle Clément, P.C., Stefania worked as a Legal Counsel Compliance Apprentice at Schneider Electric, focusing on business ethics and whistleblower systems. She also interned with the Student Legal Services at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, handling legal issues involving UIUC students.
Stefania holds an LLM from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, a Bachelor’s in Law from Université Paris-Saclay, and a Master’s in Business Law and Ethics from CY Paris University, a program known for integrating ethical considerations into legal and business practices, further advancing her international legal expertise. Additionally, she participated in an exchange program at Coventry University (UK), gaining valuable insights into both civil and common law systems.
Stefania is fluent in English, French and Romanian and conversational in Italian.
